I had a fabulous pregnancy in which I constantly trained & exercised. I also had a very straightforward water birth & beleived I had no post natal issues. I returned to the gym & high energy sport 6 weeks post birth after medical clearance from my GP. How wrong I was! Despite completing regular pelvic floor exericses I was peeing when I jumped, ran and sneezed! Although I didn’t have a diastasis recti I later discovered my linea alba was really weak as well as my pelvic floor through the Mamma.Pro.Fit programme. Taking control of my body & slowing down to really retrain my core was hard at first but so worth it. I have zero leakage and the strongest core of my life (with zero crunches).
